Importing and Exporting activities are regulated by 38 different agencies of the United States Government.

Meiko's mainframe computer fully utilizes a direct computer link to U.S. Customs via the Customs Automated Broker interface (ABI). Meiko has the capability to secure the release of cargo electronically without the necessity of filing "hard copy" document with Customs.

While we can handle most any cargo, we have exceptional experience and knowledge in handling textile and wearing apparel, industrial machinery, eletronics and food stuffs.

In addition to Customs Brokerage, Meiko offers Customs Bonds and Marine Insurance; if notifies prior to departure, many shipments can be insured automatically with our open policy.
